What are the benefits of epoxy flooring?

Epoxy Floor What are the benefits of epoxy flooring? 0061Concrete is a very porous substrate that’s susceptible to damage from water, chemicals, and abrasion. Epoxy is applied to concrete for protection, resurfacing, aestehic enhancement, hardening, or supplemental functionality.

Our Reflection Enhanced Epoxy Flooring System ranges from 1/2″ resurfacing to thin filmcoatings. With a variety of epoxy resins, aggregates, and thicknesses custom tailored to each environment, our epoxy is the most diverse industrial and residential flooring system engineered to meet the demands of nearly every environment.

The advantages of epoxy as a resinous flooring system include best value, excellent wear, chemical resistance, cleanability, and abrasion resistance. Keep in mind that there is not an epoxy that excels in environments that are subject to thermal shock, steam or continuous hot water cleaning, short turn around times, and heavy impact. Very few places will fall within those conditions.
