Reflection Enhanced Flooring System (REFS) Concrete Training IMG 0425 768x1024

Concrete isn’t something one can simply learn once and ultimately know everything. Harmon Concrete is dedicated to our customers and dedicated to the concrete we place for them. Education is and always will be an ongoing process.

We’ve recently come back from a 2 day training class on one of our favorite subjects… Concrete Overlays and Epoxy Coatings. While the term concrete overlay may scare some people into thinking it’s just another coating on top of their existing concrete, this couldn’t be further from reality. Concrete overlays are much, much more, and each overlay system is completely different.

The picture you see to the right (My design) is a new product we refer to as our Reflection Enhanced Flooring System (REFS). It’s a 5-step process that involves a chemical  reaction with several products, the main ingredient being epoxy.

You may see a slight glare on the picture, but that’s actually the light reflecting and I just couldn’t seem to get rid of it. That just goes to show how glossy this floor actually is.

So what’s so special about this particular epoxy floor? I’m glad you asked…

Not only is this one of the most beautiful flooring options on the market today, but the price is a mere $5 – $8 per square foot!

Our epoxy coatings are built to last! Unlike carpet, tile, wood and vinyl flooring (We didn’t include natural stone as most people don’t use this on their living room floors), our epoxy flooring is designed to last a lifetime.

With literally an unlimited number of color combinations, we can match any decor, style the floor in hundreds of designs and fit practically any budget. It’s also much easier to keep up.

In the coming days, I’ll discuss a little more in detail about our other concrete overlays systems and styles. In the meantime, if you’re looking for flooring options for your living room, dining room or the whole house, we’ve got you covered. If you’re responsible for the floor in your place of business, restaurant kitchen, restaurant dining area or even a retail shopping center, we’ve got that covered too.

We want to be your flooring company for all of Northwest Arkansas and beyond. If you happen to live outside of the Northwest Arkansas area, be sure to give us a call. We’ve applied our concrete in Branson, Missouri, Joplin, Missouri, Texas, Virginia, Tennessee and about 10 other states. We simply love our products and love placing them even more!

For your added convenience, we’ve provided a way for you to set up an appointment with us right online. Fill out a simple form, include a day and time most convenient to you and we’ll show up and give you a free estimate.

We have a low price guarantee: Show us a written bid from another concrete company offering the same service, and we’ll match it!
